Glitz&Glamour Ball 2010: Viva Las Vegas - Performers for the Night!

Guys, it's only two left! How are your preparations so far? :D

Well, we have introduced Ask Me Again and Wanted Symphony in our sneak peeks. Now, D-day is approaching and we are introducing the rest of the performers for the flashy and glamorous night!

First of all,  a rock and roll band with the motto "One Band, One Sound", give it up for LOVE GUN!

With a band name inspired by a song from the band KISS, this group was formed in early 2009, consisting of Amirul (drummer), Timothy (guitars), Muadz (vocals), Aniq (bass), and Amir (guitars). Passionate about producing high energy rock and roll music, despite all their song choices are covers, these guys are working on their upcoming demo CD that you guys wouldn't want to miss!

A sweet girl next door who loves singing and performing, let's put your hands together for, Tammy!

Started singing at the age of nine and lovin' it ever since, she is just an average 18 year-old engineering student who has a strong passion and love for vocals no matter what she does in life. She loves singing ballads, but is also willing to try out different genres of music.

Who doesn't love rappers? Roy Boi is definitely good at what he's doing, surely won't disappoint you!

Born and raised in the heart of Seremban, this is a proud Eurasion/Indian DJ to rapper who loves music, breakdancing, and fashion. 

Besides that, we also have Black Ribbon performing live on stage.

An acoustic group consists of Mario (vocals & percussion), Dalnor and Terence (guitars), Francis (vocals mostly rapping). They love making songs their style and sound commercial for audiences.

Besides rocking music, we bring you several dance crews that make full use of musics too, and will definitely bring the house down.
Let's make way for, MooVe Crew!

This dance crew was reformed in August this year. Inspired by Jabbawockeez, all three family members have the same passion expressing music through movements. Focusing on hip hop dancing, mainly, freestyle. Their signature is dancing with masks on, proving to the audiences that they could pull it off even without showing facial expressions.

I am sure you have heard of our very own dance crew, yes? That is, a dance crew members of our very own friends and students of SEGi College Subang Jaya! They are known as Roulette Crew, with a promise to rock the floor!
To catch them LIVE performing for YOU on the night, just wait till Friday!

Speaking of our own students, it does ring a bell. No wait, they ARE Ringsabell.

Three wonderful young ladies, Melody, Yi Wei and Quiin Yi, used to dance with Beat Groovers, but decided to form as Ringsabell for the ball. These girls are definitely not the ones to underestimate.

Other than that, we have awards waiting for you! Best Photograph, Mr. & Ms. Best Dressed, Best Dancer, Favorite Performer, and Mr. & Ms Glitz & Glamour.
Exciting enough? Tell you what, more surprises are lining up for you!

Last but not list, we have magicians & dealers ready to make the night over the top. Well, what do you expect? It's the Sin City, and we're doing it the Vegas style!

Glitz&Glamour Ball 2010: Viva Las Vegas - Official Hard Launch

Hi guys! Glitz and Glamour Ball 2010 is happening in 10 days time, are you EXCITED?

As you may wondering why are we having another launch, let me tell you, this is when you can collect your tickets, select your own table and seating, and witness the entire preview of Glitz and Glamour Ball 2010!

Sneak Peek #2: "Fusion Rock", anyone?

Just a few days ago, we have introduced an amazing rock band, Ask Me Again. But this time, we are bringing you a whole different genre - fusion rock, with a pinch of Jazz thrown in the mix. Sounds awesome?

Let's put your hands up for - Wanted Symphony!

Formed in late 2009, these four passionate young musicians write, arrange, and produce their own music that brings a unique genre. Besides rocking on stage, this band aims to bring impact to their listeners through their music. "Promise", "You Will Be Mine" and "Midnight Chatter" are the crowd's favorites. Currently, they are working on the production of their first single, which said to be due by end of this year. 

So if you are up for something spanking fresh, I assure you, you definitely wouldn't want to miss this.

Sneak Peek #1: Guest Performer & Charity Body

Hey guys, have you got your tickets yet? You better be quick because it's selling fast!

The tickets are now selling at RM88/pax (NP:RM95), and RM170/couple. Seriously, what are you still waiting for? Not convincing enough? Just wait till you see more ;)

We promise you live bands and performances to rock your night, and here's sneak peak on one of the guest performer that have always rock the stage throughout their history.

This rock group from Kuala Lumpur consists of Hameer (Vocalist), Shiresh (Guitars), Mike (Guitars), Calvino (Bass) and Shan (Drums). They have performed at a number of events such as Battle of the Bands, Bazooka Series, Monash University Festival etc, and major events like the launch of Burberry’s The Beat perfume release, and Malaysia’s biggest and oldest rock restival “Rock the World 9”. And the best part is, they have just released their first debut mini album titled “A Step Back Forward”, featuring their hit singles “Ayammas” and “Harapan”.

Malaysian Mental Health Association (or better known as MMHA), is targeting to raise over RM100K for extension of their faculty, thus expanding their services and creating a better environment for its psychosocial rehabilitation activities.

Result of Audition & Call-Back

After a month-long audition, the organizing committee of Glitz & Glamour Ball 2010 has finally finalized a partial list of performers. Congratulations to the five performers listed below. Further details about the performance for the glamourous night i.e. rehearsal, performance details, etc. will be updated through email (as provided during registration).

Glitz & Glamour Ball 2010 is a magnificent collaboration between SEGi College Subang Jaya's Fayette House & The Communication Club! Be ready to rock yourself on 1^st October 2010 at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort in Damansara from 6p.m. until 12 midnight! 

Our theme would be Viva Las Vegas in which you can get yourself in mood with our pre event that will be waiting for you to embark in a journey to Las Vegas.

Glitz & Glamour Ball 2010 is one of our best shot this year and a lot of rocking performances are lining up to cheer you and your day up. We have live bands, singers, and dance performances from our very own student of SEGi College Subang Jaya and not to be missed out the performances from local celebrities. Lucky draws and mystery goodie bags will be a part of our event and you will experience a real Las Vegas feeling in Glitz & Glamour Ball. Last but not least, there will be dance floor as our closing where you can dance and party like a rock star to the maximum!
